Box Hill Secondary
It was Wednesday the 9th of May and we knew we were in for something amazing when four buses rocked up at The Summit and dropped off 220 year 8’s from Box hill Secondary. It is always such a pleasure to have the company of you guys and this week was no different. We started off getting to know our new groups and smashing out two of the first activities. By the end of the day we had worked out what camp was all about and what it meant to have fun and play all in. We were curio

Everyone needs a Joel in their life
One of my sons has an amazing friend called Joel. Joel and his family live on a farm just out of town and he is constantly creating hilarious and challenging outdoor adventures. It's the type of adventure that's mostly long forgotten by the gen Z children of today: Tying home made sleds to the back of motorbikes...attempted cow riding...building forts. You name it, Joel is out there giving it a go. As you'd expect, his physical competency causes Joel to be a total boss on the

We loved having Lyndale at The Summit last week. After arriving and settling in, it was games games games! Take the ‘In’ out of Influence
Are you a teacher, Parent, Business Leader, Coach, Friend? Yes? Do you consider yourself someone in a position of Influence? I hope so. Because you are. You have an incredible power to alter the character and behaviour of the ones you meet. The ultimate question however, is are you using your powers for good? Are the ones being affected, changed for the better or for the worse? No pressure. Something powerful to consider that will allow you to feel more like your powers are b

Heatherton Christian College
What a fabulous three day camp it was with Heatherton Christian College year 7/ 8 and their teachers. Timmay was excited to be back on camp with Mamma G after a few years on other programs. The camp theme of team building, perseverance and resilience was shown as soon as each tribe began their camp. Each tribe came together to complete an initiative and rotations. After the first two rotations, the tribe chose their tribe names, forming their own identity for camp. Level up,
Warragul Regional College
We had the pleasure of having Warragul Regional College come to The Summit for what was going to be an intense couple of days! We started off with some quick and fun initiatives to get the ball rolling, it was here that our new tribe names were formed. Our six groups were now renamed; The Unholy Alliance, Raggazzi Sono Qui, Lil Ducks, Aussie Mullets, Summit Psychos and Beyond Realms. Now that our tribes had names, it was time to do some activities. There was bouncing off the
