After a great start to the week with the first half of McClelland year sevens there was a great buzz as the second half arrived at The Summit for their camp. Mentone Girls Secondary College - School Camp 2
Wednesday 22nd of May saw a change over for the Mentone girls, with Camp 1 leaving and Camp 2 arriving! Camp two girls first went off to their accommodation and got settled in! Mentone Girls Secondary - School Camp 1
Mentone Girls Grammar year 8s came to the Summit for a full week, splitting into two camps. The first camp got off to a great start with everyone getting into their tribes and creating a tribe name. Our tribes were now called: Pipeliners, Iron Man Dies, Sloths, Summit Slayers, Gucci Patrol, UV Rhinos, Tree Warrior. Monday 13th of May came and brought the year 8’s from Brunswick Secondary College to The Summit! The first thing the students did was get settled into their accommodation. The Summit was visited by the loud and rowdy group of year eights from Box Hill High School. Their energy was so good, we couldn’t wait to have all the fun with them. Springvale Park Special Development School
It has been a pleasure to have had the students and teachers from Springvale Park Special Development School at The Summit for their three day camp from Monday 13th-15th May. As the bus arrived, I was greeted by beautiful beaming smiles. Fountain Gate Secondary College
The gang from Fountain Gate Secondary arrived on Monday ready to go! They had plenty of time to settle in before getting out there. Day 1 started with the introduction of the 5 Keys, focusing on the first two: Play All In and Have Fun. On Monday the 6th May to the 8th May the year 8 students from Taylors Lakes Secondary College came to The Summit for their school Camp. Once everyone was settled into camp life it was time for each tribe to form their new identity, a name for themselves. It was a wet start to camp, but that didn’t stop John Pauls’s year ten from having all the fun. We had a big first day with a welcome to camp and then straight into three activities.
