

Armadale Primary School
On the 22nd July, the students and teachers from Armadale P.S grade 5/6 arrived at The Summit. Once settled in, it was time to complete two initiatives and design a tribe flag to go with the new tribe names:- Uninoodles, Dim Sims, Turtles, Drop Bears and Bread Box Pirates. Flying fox was a great activity for all. Everyone was really enjoying the freedom of flying through the air over the lake to the cheer of their tribes. Rushworth P-12 College
On Wednesday, some of the Year 9 & 10’s made the trek to The Summit, brining laughter and enthusiasm, and also some great weather! The camp started with some introductions, a few jokes, and an awesome group of people ready to have some fun! ST MARYS SCHOOL ROBINVALE
After the long drive from Robinvale to Trafalgar East, the students and teachers from St Mary’s Robinvale arrived at The Summit for their 5 day camp. Everyone got settled into their cabins and ready for a nice dinner before the next few days of activities and adventures. Bush challenge was the first of the tribe challenges, and Tic Tocs set the time to beat with an impressive 22.50 only to be outdone by the Underdogs who completed the course in 20.42. Why School Camps are Necessary
School Camp is a great opportunity for kids to get out of the classroom and learn from a different perspective. They are great for the kids to also gain new interests, grow friendships and develop new skills but camps need to strive for MORE. First week back for term three and we were lucky enough to have John Fawkner’s year 12s come to The Summit for a three day camp. With two groups, the banter and competition was at a whole time high. From the 26th to the 28th June The Summit had the pleasure of welcoming Narre Warren South P-12 years. As the welcome begun, the students got introduced to The Summit team; Maddi, Paula and team leader Steph. Knox Garden Primary School
On Monday the 24th June the grade sixes and their teachers from Knox Garden Primary School arrived at The Summit ready for an adventurous five day school camp. The weather proved to be great throughout the five days while the nights got chilly. East Preston Islamic girls came to The Summit for an awesome three day camp. It was a very-very cold three days, but these girls were troopers and soldiered through.
