Monterey Secondary College
Monterey Secondary College year 9s, you are an epic group of 30, that achieved some wild and personally challenging feats. Across the 3 days here at The Summit you swung, shot, climbed, leaped and walked your way through 8 activities that tested you in a variety of ways. As the busses rolled in on Wednesday afternoon, we welcomed Mount Eliza Secondary College. After a long gurney to The Summit the Year Elevens Students were very keen to hop off the buses and hit the park. No time was wasted in the first rotation. Wednesday the 13th of November brought the year 9 from Kerang Christian College to The Summit. After a long journey on the bus the students were very keen to hop off the bus and have some lunch! Once again it has been a pleasure having the students and teachers from Spensley Street Primary at The Summit for their grade six five day camp. With a few initiatives to start the camp off, it was time to start the rotations of activities and come up with a tribe name. It was a great warm welcome to the students and teachers/parent helpers from Clifton Hills Primary School as they embarked on their first camp to The Summit. The weather on Wednesday started warm but only got colder as the days went by. This did not stop the fun of camp as each tribe came up with their tribe name and identity.
