Kurunjang Secondary Collage
On a busy Wednesday at The Summit, we said goodbye to Kurunjang camp 2 and welcomed camp 3 to the park. The campers were eager to settle into their accommodation, have their lunch and get the program started. It has been a pleasure having the grade 3 and 4 students from Sale Primary School at The Summit for three days for their school camp. It was a pleasure having Altona College at The Summit during 19/2/20 - 21/2/20 for their 3 day camp. From the 12th to the 14th of February the Good News Lutheran College came to the Summit camp for a three-day program. During the camp the students had to push through their comfort zones and conquer many new challenges as well as facing up to some fears on activities such as an abseil from our Big Tower and navigating through our Cave in pitch black. Monday lunchtime we welcomed some pretty awesome girls from Lauriston Secondary College. As the bus’s where unpacked the fun begun. Marching your way straight to the tents camp began with some lunch eating, getting used to the hot day and preparing yourselves for a whole heap of challenges. On Monday, the Year 7’s from Lakes Entrance Secondary College made the epic journey to The Summit! The summit had the pleasure of welcoming the Year 11/12’s from Upper Yarra Secondary College on Friday the 7th February 2020, although they only stayed for two days they managed to fit a jam packed program in, filled with 2 initiatives, 8 rotations, 2 laps of the monster course and LOTS of games.
