It was an immense pleasure to work with the year 8’s and their teachers from Altona College over the last three days for their camp at The Summit. After the arrival and formal information, we got straight into the rotations of initiatives and activities and made the most of the fine weather. On a hot Monday afternoon, the bus rolled up to The Summit with students from Yinnar P.S. After being shown to their tent accommodation, the level of excitement grew, as the kids were keen to have lunch, settle in and start the activities. It was a pleasure to have the students from Preston High School in for their second camp for year 9’s. With little time at all, each tribe came up with their name. We welcomed C.H.G, Datildas, Stardust, $12.50, Champion Chickens and Dangerous Dugongs. Here are the tribe results from challenges throughout camp.
