We were super stoked to have Mt Eliza future year 12s visit at The Summit. Day one we were settling into our tribes and discovering those very important tribe names. We had; Doin’, Meteors, Just send it, OG3, Bangers n Mash and You Wouldn’t Do It.
With the only sunshine being for our first day we wanted to make the most if it. Everyone smashed through their first two activities and already starting to smash through some certain fears. By the end of the first day, us coaches were pretty excited for the next two days with you all.
Day two and it was time to embrace the cold and wet. Despite the weather you all continued to crush your activities. Shout outs to Strong and Tristen who persisted on the Sky Bridge, Ryan and Lauren doing the Leap of Faith with a 180 twist. Dan the man also did some twists and rolls while playing Laser Skirmish.
By the time the afternoon came around, everyone was ready for the Monster course. Us coaches had an epic course mapped out for you and we couldn’t wait to get started. The rain was falling heavy, but that didn’t stop anyone for giving it their all and most importantly supporting their tribe mates through every obstacle. Well done again to everyone that did their best during the course. As everyone completed the course, it was quick celebrations and a rush to the showers.
Fri-yay and final day of camp. It didn’t look like the rain was going anywhere but you all powered through like legends till the end. Before lunch, we did acknowledged some tribe members that embraced their camp experience. These lucky legends got to have a ride in our army tank. After lunch we wrapped up and said our goodbyes.
Thank you Mt Eliza for coming to camp and playing hard and having all the fun with us coaches. Good luck with everything in the future.
