Having a sense of community unites us. Being a part of a community can make us feel as though we are a part of something greater than ourselves. In adolescence, Sense of Community grows thanks to positive experiences with peers and significant adults in different settings (e.g., neighbourhoods, schools) and contributes to the development of personal and social identity and to positive developmental outcomes.
